Indian cold chain startup Celcius raises $4.5 million

Celcius, an India-based cold chain marketplace startup has raised $4.5 million as part of its ongoing Series A funding round.

  • The funds will help the startup to develop its tech, sales and operations and expand to 500 cities this year.
  • Celcius is a Mumbai-based cold chain solution provider for sectors like dairy, pharmacy, fresh produce, export fruits, seafood and distribution of COVID-19 vaccines.
  • The startup plans to organize development programs to assist transporters across India.
  • The funding was received from Mumbai angels, Supply Chain Labs, Endurance Capital, VCats, Keiretsu Forum, Huddle and Evan.
