Indian D2C food brand Country Delight raises $108 million
Country Delight, an India-based direct-to-consumer (D2C) fresh foods brand has raised $108 million in its Series D funding round bringing it to $615 million in valuation.
- The funds will help the brand to enter into new markets, build out new product categories and develop its current product portfolio, it claims.
- Country Delight offers doorstep delivery of dairy, fruits, and vegetables to consumers in India using an integrated supply chain.
- The brand claims it has recorded 10x growth and increased its customers to three million in 15 cities over the last three years.
- The new funding round was led by Venturi Partners and Temasek, with participation from SWC Global, Trifecta Capital and existing investors.
