Indian energy distribution startup Repos Energy raises $7.2 million

Repos Energy, a no-carbon energy distribution startup in India has raised $7.2 million in its pre-series A funding round from Ratan Tata and other investors.

• The new investment is received as integration of debt and equity funding, it claims.
• The funds will be used to build out its product line, enter into new markets in the country, and invest in AI, IoT, and blockchain for efficient energy distribution.
• Repos Energy is adding ethanol, methanol, and biofuels to its renewable energies mobile distribution.
