Indian multinational IT startup Infosys acquires BASE life science for €110 million
Infosys, an India-based multinational information technology company offering consulting and outsourcing services, has acquired BASE Life Science in an all-cash deal of €110 million.
- The acquisition will enable global life science companies to attain business value from cloud-based digital platforms and data, and improve clinical trials and drug development.
- Infosys will further register its presence in the Nordics area and Europe based on the acquisition, and advance its digital transformation using solutions from the cloud-based industry.
- BASE has experts across Denmark, Switzerland, the UK, Germany, France, Italy, and a tech hub in Spain.
- Founded in 2007, BASE combines business logic and technology to provide innovative and specialized consulting in life sciences and has a revenue record of €26.6 million and €17.7 million in FY22 and 21 respectively.
