Purplle, an India-based online beauty and personal products sales platform has raised $33 million in its new funding round, at a $1.1 billion valuation from Paramark Ventures.

  • The funding will be used to support its inorganic growth plans, the firm claims.
  • Purplle is an online beauty marketplace with over 1,000 brands on its platform and five private labels.
  • With over seven million active users, the platform claims it has a gross value of $180 million in annualized merchandise.
  • Premji Invest, Blume Ventures, and Kadeera Capital participated in the funding round making Purplle the latest unicorn in India after the edtech firm, PhysicsWallah.
