Wheelocity, a tech-focused supply chain startup based in India and offering quick e-commerce supply has secured $12 million in its Series A funding round led by Lightspeed Venture Partner, to support its operations.
- The fund will be used to build out new product offerings in farm side operations and technology development for automation and standardization, and product development. It will also add to its employee base, the startup claims.
- Founded in 2021, Wheelocity supplies fresh fruits and vegetables to quick commerce companies including Zepto, Swiggy, Instamart, Blinkit, and Dunzo, depending on its full-stack technology.
- It also helps supply startups to set up in India using its business-to-business (B2B) plug-and-play models.
- Anicut Capital and other investors invested in the round.
