Indonesia's crypto trading platform Pintu raises $113 million in Series B

Pintu, an Indonesia-based crypto trading app has raised $113 million in its Series B funding round from Intudo Ventures, Lightspeed, Northstar Group, and Pantera Capital.

  • The funds will be used for adding more tokens and supported blockchains and new products to the app.
  • Pintu lets first-time investors especially youths invest in Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other cryptocurrencies and also access crypto trading knowledge via Pintu Academy.
  • Launched in 2020, the firm has completed its third funding round at a total raise of $156 million.
  • The app is installed by 4 million people and 790,000 community members are present on its different channels, the firm claims.
