Mexican B2B Payment Platform Jeeves Secures $75M to Grow its Latin America Operations
- Mexican B2B payments and corporate card platform Jeeves has secured a $75 million credit facility from Community Investment Management (CIM), 25 months after it secured $180 million in a Series C round at a $2.1 billion valuation in March 2022.
- Founded in 2021, Jeeves provides financial solutions to small and midsize businesses, including expense management software, corporate cards, and global accounts. It has since expanded to over 20 countries and has a client base of over 6,000 companies.
- With the new debt funding, Jeeves will finance its credit product and support the Latin America expansion of its cross-border payment solution Jeeves Pay.
Qred Brazil Raises $4.9M to Grow its Portfolio by 60%
- Qred Brazil has raised $4.9 million through the Credit Rights Investment Fund (FIDC). Nau Capital was responsible for structuring and Veirano Advogados was the legal advisor for the operation.
- Founded in 2015, Qred Brazil began operations in Brazil in 2019 and offers financing and payment services such as business loans and business cards to small and medium-sized companies.
- With the new funding, Qred Brazil will focus on new originations by partnering with credit marketplaces and grow its portfolio by 60% in the next 12 months.
Brazilian Climatech Umgrauemeio Secures $3.6M to Expand AI-Driven Firefighting Tech
- Brazilian climatech Umgrauemeio has secured $3.6 million in a funding round led by Baraúna Investimentos. Other participating investors include Indicator Capital, The Yield Lab Latam, and Rural Ventures.
- Founded in 2016, Umgrauemeio specializes in environmental protection and forest monitoring. It reported revenues of $3.6 million in 2023 and projects an increase to $4.6 million in 2024.
- With the new funding, Umgrauemeio will enhance the capabilities of its Pantera platform, which uses AI to detect forest fires and reduce CO₂ emissions through high-resolution security cameras mounted on communication towers.
Brazilian Healthtech Omni Secures $2M to Expand Access to Medicines
- Brazilian healthtech Omni has secured $2 million in an investment round led by Greenrock. This takes Omni's combined sum to $2.9 million in less than a year of operation.
- Founded in 2023, Omni promotes information and increases patient awareness about the rational and safe consumption of medicines, in addition to reinforcing the importance of adherence to treatment and the dangers of self-medication.
- With the new funding, Omni will strengthen its position as a mature healthtech and reach its target monthly revenue of $294.6 thousand by the end of the year.
Brazilian Healthtech Biologix Raises $1.2M to Develop its Technology Further and Fuel its Expansion
- Brazilian healthtech Biologix has raised $1.2 million in a funding round led by Kortex Ventures. Other participating investors include Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein.
- Founded in 2015, Biologix specializes in sleep medicine, offering diagnostic solutions and treatments for disorders like sleep apnea. It also conducts over 10,000 sleep exams per month, and its technology is used in over 4,100 accredited medical practices across Brazil.
- With the new funding, Biologix will develop its technology further, fuel its expansions, and double the size of its 20-person team.
