Colombian fintech, Finkargo, raises $95M to triple the size of its operations
Colombian fintech company, Finkargo, has raised a total of $95 million in a Series A extension round led by QED Investors and CIM with participation from OneVC, Quona, Nazca, Maya, and Flybridge.
Founded in 2021, Finkargo offers SME importers fast credit through a simple application process using imported goods as collateral. Its services include financing, insurance, and logistics solutions, enabling SMEs to import goods more efficiently and contribute to stronger foreign trade.
The company has a client base of over 240 clients and has facilitated over 4,000 importing operations. It operates in Colombia and Mexico.
Finkargo aims to use the funds to triple the size of its operations by enhancing complementary services like financing fleets and shipping insurance.
