Pravaler raises $75 million through FIDCs to reach more students
Education financing platform Pravaler has successfully raised $75 million through Credit Rights Investment Funds (FIDCs), bringing its total funding for the year to $123.6 million.
Founded in 2001, Pravaler provides student loans to help Brazilian students access higher education by providing student loans. It partners with over 500 educational institutions and controls 80% of Brazil's private student financing market. The company has disbursed over $1.7 billion to support education in the country, with notable university partners like Estácio, Universidade Anhembi Morumbi, and Universidade Cruzeiro do Sul.
Pravaler plans to use the newly raised funds to expand student credit access across Brazil, focusing on high-demand fields like Medicine. The company aims to enhance social mobility, enabling more students to pursue higher education and improve their future employment prospects.
