Telescope, a content creation incubator based in Jordan, has recently secured an undisclosed amount of seed investment from UAE's Select Venture Equity.
Founded in 2019 by Dr Moatasim Masalmeh, Telescope offers a diverse range of content in categories such as art, entertainment, and education, and has amassed over two million followers and 1000 shows and video series in the Middle East and North Africa region. The company also supports influencers and content creators seeking to increase their online presence.
Dr Motasim clarified that Telescope has become a market leader in the media tech industry, with 1000+ produced shows and video series, and 2M+ followers in MENA. It has also helped 100+ influencers and content creators to grow their online platforms and content.
In a statement, the startup said it aims to be the most prominent content creation incubator, building on the success of the last three years and the state-of-the-art studios it has built.
The investment will be used to expand Telescope's operations in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, as well as enhance engagement with influencers and customers through technology.
