Zuri Health, a mobile telemedicine platform that helps patients to access and book certified healthcare services on-demand based on the availability, location, and specialization of the provider in Africa, has launched its new digital assistant Vera.
The startup enables users in Africa to access first-level primary healthcare services where they can talk to doctors, book appointments, book lab tests, and order medication from pharmacies, through its website, its mobile app, and SMS platforms in Kenya and Senegal.
Vera, its WhatsApp chatbot will work 24/7 to provide quick responses and services in real-time to patients and connect them to healthcare services and products.
The digital assistant, which is available in English, Swahili, and French, can handle multiple questions simultaneously, allowing users to book lab and diagnostic tests, buy medication, and schedule doctor appointments.
