Nigerian fintech startup LemFi has partnered with Visa to streamline and enhance cross-border transactions in two of the world's largest markets, China, India, and Pakistan.
This collaboration seeks to leverage LemFi's innovative financial infrastructure solutions alongside Visa's global payment network to provide individuals and businesses with efficient means of conducting cross-border transactions.
Since its launch in 2020, it has secured over $33 million to ease remittance for immigrants, enabling it to improve its cross-border payments to over 30 countries. The deal will allow LemFi and Visa to provide debit and pre-paid debit cards to over 250,000 users in the UK and EMEA regions.
