It's Pixel time, baby!

This Wednesday, the Made by Google 2023 event is kicking off in New York, where Google will be announcing the Pixel 8 series, the Pixel Watch 2, and other product reveals.

As we await what Google has in store, we have put together the top products we expect to see launched at the Made by Google 2023 event.

#1 – The Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro

According to information from several sources, the Pixel 8 is expected to have a 6.17-inch Full HD (FHD) display. On the other hand, the Pixel 8 Pro might feature a larger 6.7-inch Quad HD+ (QHD+) display with a fast 120Hz refresh rate.

In the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, there are rumors of Google using its custom-made Tensor G3 chipset. This chipset is reported to introduce a new configuration with a 9-core CPU, which is designed to provide impressive artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities.

The Pixel 8 Pro is expected to feature a triple-rear camera arrangement, while the Pixel 8 might go for a dual-rear camera setup. These cameras will be neatly housed within their unique visor-shaped modules. There's also a rumor suggesting that the Pro model could include a body temperature sensor.

This year, there's an anticipation of a $100 price hike for both smartphones, which could mean the starting price for the Pixel 8 at $699 and the Pixel 8 Pro at $899.

#2 – Pixel Watch 2

Based on a report, there are indications that the Pixel Watch 2 might sport a 1.2-inch OLED display. It is also rumored to be equipped with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.

This smartwatch is expected to feature innovative health-related capabilities influenced by other fitness trackers. These could include a stress management system similar to Fitbit's and a multi-path heart rate sensor. Additionally, it may incorporate an electrodermal activity sensor for more comprehensive health tracking.

Furthermore, the Pixel Watch 2 may introduce various functionalities such as Pace Training, seven different workout modes, Emergency Sharing, and more.

#3 – Pixel Buds Pro 2

While there aren't expectations for Google to reveal new earbuds, there is some speculation surrounding the potential introduction of new color choices for the Pixel Buds Pro. Google's teaser has provided a hint about the possible addition of a Porcelain color variant for the Buds Pro. Additionally, a separate report indicates the likelihood of a Sky Blue option being introduced. Or maybe we just might see the Pixel Buds Pro 2.

Bonus: Smart Home, maybe?

For some years now, Google has been making significant strides in the Smart Home segment. But, while there are no significant rumors about Home/Nest products, we can expect noteworthy announcements, features, and updates around the product, or perhaps future developments, given Google’s track record.

The Made by Google 2023 event is generating excitement and is poised to offer a glimpse into Google's future hardware and software innovations.

It proves one thing: that Google is continuously committed to delivering state-of-the-art technology and setting new benchmarks in the industry.
