Meta's new AI tool can respond to your DMs on Instagram

AI assistants can do pretty much these days. From helping you book appointments, order shopping items to roasting your questionable life choices or simply just cracking jokes.

Now imagine having an AI assistant that can handle common DM questions and story replies on your Instagram account so you don't have to. With Meta's new tool called AI Studio (currently in development) this could become a reality.

The new tool, powered by Meta’s Llama 3.1, is expected to help you to create, share and design personalized AI characters on Instagram and also allow creators to use the AI characters "as an extension of themselves".

Meta AI now supports seven languages including French, German, Hindi, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish, with more on the way.
