Mexican logistics company Nowports raises $150 million, becomes a unicorn
Nowports, a logistics company based in Mexico has raised $150 million in its Series C funding round bringing it to $1.1 billion in valuation and now a unicorn.
- The funds will be used to hire more tech and engineering talents and expand its services to more cities in Brazil, Mexico, and Chile, it claims.
- Nowports is a logistics firm focusing on warehouse and shipment automation with real-time tracking of shipments using sensors.
- The new funding round was led by SoftBank with participation from Tiger Global, Foundation Capital, Monashees, Soma Capital, Broadhaven Ventures, and Mouro Capital among others.
- It last raised $60 million in its Series B round some months ago.
