Mexican proptech Around raises $3.8 million for business expansion

Around, a proptech startup based in Mexico has raised $3.8 million in its seed round funding led by LEAP Global Partners, to expand its business operations.

  • The fund will be used to launch financial products for landlords and workspace rentals, the firm claims.
  • Founded in 2020, Around offers fully serviced office spaces for work teams with flexible online selection and payment options.
  • With over 130 spaces, the firm has reached $2.5 million in annual revenues, with a plan to expand in Latin America including Brazil and Sau Paulo in the next 12-18 months.  
  • Latitud Ventures, Ganas Ventures, Gaingels, Unpopular Ventures, August Hill, a16z scout fund invested in the round.
