Plerk a digital membership employee benefits startup has merged with Minu, a compensation and benefits platform focused on financial health to bolster the worker benefits market in Mexico.
Minu is an employee service platform that businesses use to offer their workers an array of benefits, such as health services, insurance assistance, financial education, and access to earned salaries before payday.
Plerk is changing the way companies manage their employee’s perks, offering visa prepaid cards to workers and online reporting and management tools to businesses.
As a result of the merger, Minu will integrate Plerk’s digital prepaid employee benefits card into its services, to consolidate its offer for employees.
Minu has over 350 B2B clients, including Grupo Modelo, Rappi, and Tecnológico de Monterrey. In 2022, Minu grew 5x in revenue and recently announced a new 30 million financing round composed of a 20 million debt line from Accial Capital and a 10M bridge round led by Coppel Capital, Besant Capital, and Enea Capital.
