Microsoft and Meta team up for an exciting metaverse experience

Microsoft and Meta (formerly Facebook) have announced a collaboration that would bring the software giant's biggest products – Teams, Office, Windows, and Xbox Cloud Gaming – to Meta’s Quest VR headsets.

"We are bringing a Microsoft Teams immersive meeting experience to Meta Quest in order to give people new ways to connect with each other," says Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella.

According to Mark Zuckerberg, the cross-device, cross-screen experience "will be the foundation of he virtual office of the future", as people would be able to join a Teams meeting directly from Meta's own Horizon Workrooms.
