Muncher, a leading food technology company in LATAM, has closed a $27 million Series B round led by Glisco Partners.
- Founded by Juan David Jaramillo, Andrés Villarraga and Nimrod Molad in 2019, Muncher operates strategically located modular Dark Kitchens that help restaurants and food service brands scale up quickly while maintaining high quality and low costs using its technology.
- Muncher which operates the largest Dark Kitchen chain in LATAM will use the funding to add hundreds of kitchens to its platform. With this latest funding, Muncher has raised nearly $53 million since 2019, when it was founded in Bogota.
- The foodtech startup already has about 400 food companies distributed through 43 centres in 11 cities in four countries namely Colombia, Mexico, Peru and Brazil.
