We've always known that the AI race was going to get intense.

Since the launch of Bard a year ago, Google has been striving to improve the AI chatbot – but after launching its most advanced AI chatbot, Gemini last December, the search giant has now replaced Bard with Gemini. 🤖

This move is intentional: to go head-on with Microsoft's Copilot and OpenAI's ChatGPT in the paid AI subscription market.

While it is still early days, I think that Google Gemini is very up-to-date, accurate, and more interesting as an AI assistant. A quick prompt on Gemini for 'what is gemini' produced a very concise and personal response, whereas, ChatGPT gave a long description in the third person when I asked 'what is chatgpt' – which had me rolling my eyes. 🙄

Okay, maybe that was too dramatic, but this prompt below had me ROTFL. See the difference between the two AI chatbots for yourself for a simple question. 🙈

No way! 🤯

Moving away from AI, let's see what other companies got up to this week, including some positive news about Huawei, Uber, and more.

See you in the next one!
