🤯 This text-to-video AI model could blow your mind
Just when the world was coming to the reality of an AI-dominated world – although still largely text-based – we are now seeing a glimpse of its powerful creative prowess.
If you have seen any of the prompts from the latest text-to-video AI model in town that can churn out uncanny photorealistic videos from just text inputs, it could blow your mind.
First, it was text, then images, now OpenAI is generating videos through Sora. It isn't the first text-to-video tool in the market, but it is the first that can produce realistic, complex videos of up to a minute based on text prompts.
While Meta has a tool for making short video clips, and Google is working on its text-to-video model, it's only a matter of time before this technology advances to the point where it becomes perfect enough to generate stock videos, product advertisements, entire TV productions, and even two-hour-length movies.
Still, there are concerns about its potential for misuse. For example, Taylor Swift's explicit deepfakes which hit the internet a week ago might just be a glimpse into the dark side of this technology.
