What can your ๐• do to make you come back?

So you really want your X back? ๐Ÿคจ Forgive me, but what could make you see ๐• (the former bird app) more often? ๐Ÿคช

This week, Twitter โ€“ yes, I still call it Twitter (now ๐•) finally took the wraps off its long-awaited audio and video call feature. ๐Ÿค™๐Ÿผ

By the look of things, the video quality does seem better than the initial test clips shared by Elon a couple of weeks ago, but the feature doesn't have a button. Duh. ๐Ÿ™„ It takes a little snooping around to figure out how to make a call, so I'll let Ladou help you get around in this quick guide. ๐Ÿ”–

Not wanting to be left out in featuresland, WhatsApp now allows two accounts on a single device, so you don't need to juggle between apps or carry two phones, while TikTok is testing 15-minute long-form videos as it preps up to go head-to-head with Twitter (now ๐•) and YouTube. ๐Ÿ“น

Sssh....we also heard that Instagram is trying to copy from Elon's playbook as it experiments with a feature that will allow you to see only posts from paid verified users. I like how Elon Musk is leaving a Mark on Zuckerberg. ๐Ÿค

Why not catch up on all of these new features and other innovative products like the driverless taxis in Japan, the all-electric vehicle that wants to be a 'smartphone on wheels', plus venture funding stories and technology insights across emerging markets and the rest of the world?

Until next week,

โ€“ Loy
