Norrsken Impact Accelerator selects 9 African startups for scaling and funding
Norrsken Impact Accelerator has selected 9 African startups for the 2022 (2nd edition) scaling and funding program targeted at producing scalable and impact startups.
- The Accelerator is a 2016 founding by Niklas Adalberth, one of the founders of Klarna, a Swedish fintech unicorn.
- The 9 startups are Nigeria's Clafiya, a digital healthcare service provider, SunFi, a clean-tech startup, Appload, a digital transport company from Mozambique, Emata, a Ugandan lending service, Umoja Labs, a payment solution startup in Tanzania, Fixa, a Rwandan recruitment service, Motito, a Ghanaian BNPL platform, HealthDart, health network in South Africa, and Power Financial Wellness providing savings and investment services in Kenya.
- The startups will participate in an 8-week program with over 110 mentors involved and each startup will receive $125,000 upfront preseed/seed funding from Norrsken Foundation.
