Oman-based startup KitchenomiKs, a provider of cloud kitchen services, has raised $1.7 million in a seed funding round from angel investors, including prominent Omani investors.
The funds will be used to finance centralised kitchens, technology, leadership hires, and the creation of additional brands.
Registered in the Abu Dhabi Global Market, KitchenomiKs was founded in early 2022 and operates automated centralised and satellite kitchens in Oman. The company has so far launched six individual food brands that have received ratings of four stars or higher on popular food delivery apps.
In addition, the company works with food and beverage brands and restaurants, helping them expand their geographic reach through its kitchen-as-a-service model.
KitchenomiKs plans to expand across the Gulf Cooperation Council region, building and operating multiple high-quality food brands from its automated hub-and-spoke cloud kitchens.
KitchenomiKs has more than 30 employees and an exclusive long-term partnership with the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre, which provides access to a 30,000 sq ft state-of-the-art kitchen facility capable of hosting more than 100 own and popular brands, making it the largest cloud kitchen of its kind in Oman.
