Opera meets AI, again and again
What did you miss or need catching up with in technology this week? A lot.
If we needed any reminder at all that the Opera browser is one of the best web browsers out there, Opera (the web browser company, of course) has made sure of it.
After letting users chat with AI on its browser using ChatGPT, it has now integrated Gemini AI, so users can access the most relevant and up-to-date information faster and smarter. The coolest part? You can ask it to "create an image of a dog on vacation at a beach having a drink," and it generates the image above.
Not to be outdone, browser market leader, Chrome took the wraps off a new feature called “Minimized Custom Tabs” that will allow users to move between a native app and their web content with a tap.
Away from Browserland, YouTube rolled out "Hum to Search" and Playables, while Google is ending chat functionality for businesses on Maps and Search soon.
What else did you miss or need catching up with in technology this week?
A lot.
See you in the next one,
