Praktis, an Indonesia end-to-end supply chain enabler for direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands has announced it has raised $20 million in Series A funding led by existing investor East Ventures (Growth fund), with participation from Triputra Group and SMDV.
Founded in 2020 by Dipta Imanto, Adrian Gilrandy, Dhimas Syahendra, and Mohamad Fahrul, the Indonesia-based startup managed supply chain services for D2C brands and suppliers including everything from raw material purchases, production, and logistics to order fulfilment.
The platform acts as a single point of contact for SMEs in managing their back-end operations, freeing up time for the founders to focus more on their actual business. Praktis claims it had 4x year-on-year revenue growth in 2022, while its growth from 2020 to 2021 shot up 12x.
The company says it will use the new capital to strengthen its services for both brands and suppliers, building its team and expanding its end-to-end supply chain ecosystem. It also believes that its product offerings will be able to help SME DTC brands to grow and scale rapidly to compete against bigger brands.
The recent round follows an undisclosed pre-series A round in December 2021, led by investors like East Ventures and Triputra Group.
