Africa's leading payment technology startup, Flutterwave has launched the mobile app version of $end, its remittance service that can facilitate faster and easier transfer of funds from the diaspora to the African continent.
$end by Flutterwave was originally launched as a web app to help facilitate remittance to Africans in December 2021. The new mobile app, which is available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, aims to enhance customer experience through improved speed, transparency and ability to get user’s money to its destination despite the hurdles.
Customers can download the Send Mobile App on the Google Play Store for Android devices or App Store for iPhones by clicking on the respective highlighted links.
Immediately after the launch, Flutterwave signed Nigerian Grammy Award-winning musician, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as WizKid as its global ambassador to further push the product among Africans in the diaspora.
In addition to launching the app, the payment startup has also signed the Nigeria-born 100m Hurdles Women’s World Record Holder, Tobi Amusan as $endmobile’s Ambassador.
The startup said this decision is due to "their similarity in speed and resilience."
