Singapore-based crypto platform Crypto.com launches in South Korea
Singapore-based cryptocurrency platform Crypto.com has acquired two startups in South Korea for an undisclosed amount, an important market for the platform in advancing blockchain technology.
- Founded in 2016, Crypto.com serves more than 50 million customers and is the world’s fastest-growing global cryptocurrency platform.
- The company says it secured Electronic Financial Transaction Act and Virtual Asset Service Provider registration by acquiring payment service provider PnLink and virtual asset provider OK-BIT.
- Crypto.com believes that its services would not only help further evolve and empower commerce in Korea but also support the greater creation and development of its Web3 ecosystem.
