- Singapore-based multi-asset investment manager, First Plus Asset Management focusing on structured credit and equities in Asia supported the launched facility.
- Since launching the facility, Validus has doubled its borrower base in Singapore and recorded a 60% growth in its loan book. It grew its monthly volumes by over 8x and tripled its loan book in the last 24 months, it claims.
- Validus has disbursed over $1.6 billion across more than 65,000 loans to SMEs in Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Thailand. It is backed by investors like FMO, Vertex Growth, Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia and India, AddVentures by SCG, K3 Ventures, Openspace Ventures, and VinaCapital Ventures.
