Singapore's blockchain VC firm NGC Ventures raises $100 million

NGC Ventures, a Singapore-based blockchain and financial technology firm has raised $100 million in its new funding round to support web3-focused projects.

  • The crypto firm will fund early-stage projects in web3 including decentralized finance (DeFi), non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and GameFi (blockchain-based play-to-earn games using DeFi and NFTs).
  • Babel Finance, Huobi Ventures, and Nexo Ventures participated in the funding round.
  • The metaverse firm invested parts of its last raised funds in blockchain projects including Solana, Oasis, and Algorand.
