Singapore's data mapping startup NextBillion.ai raises $21 million
NextBillion.ai, a spatial data mapping startup based in Singapore has raised $21 million in its new funding round led by Mirae Asset Investments.
- The funds will help the startup expand its presence globally, move into North America and Europe and build out decentralized geospatial technology stacks for businesses, it claims.
- NextBillion.ai is a Singaporean startup empowering enterprises to build, scale and manage their own spatial data ecosystem with more than 30 customers currently supported in over 20 countries.
- The enterprise claims it recorded 4x year-on-year growth in revenue, 10x growth in its customer base and plans to 4x its growth in 2022.
- It last raised an added $6.25 million to its Series A round last year and now has $34 million in raised total since it launched in 2020.
