Singapore's pharmacy platform startup SwipeRx raises $27 million
SwipeRx, a Singaporean app-based platform for pharmacy professionals has raised $27 million in its Series B funding round led by Indonesia's MDI Ventures.
- The funds will help the startup to expand into Southeast Asia focusing on Indonesia, it claims.
- SwipeRx offers app-based services for pharmacy professionals to connect, buy medicine via its B2B platform and receive industry-related news and information.
- Founded in 2012, the startup has partnered with top health organizations including AstraZeneca, Clinton Health Access Initiative, Stanford University, and the University of Oxford.
- Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Johnson & Johnson Impact Ventures, and Susquehanna International Group participated in the funding round.
