With many Indonesians facing difficulties in accessing fair credit due to limited knowledge about credit systems and responsible borrowing practices, SkorLife, an Indonesian FinTech startup aims to address this by providing users with instant access to their credit scores and reports, along with personalized advice to help them improve their creditworthiness and obtain better credit opportunities.
To support its mission, SkorLife has successfully raised $4 million in a seed funding round led by Hummingbird Ventures, with additional investments from QED Investors, AC Ventures, and Saison Capital. This funding will help it to its enhance product development, expand the team, and amplify marketing efforts.
Persisting on its mission to provide accessible credit opportunities to Indonesians, SkorLife has already gained recognition in the market since its public launch. In September 2022, the startup raised US$2.2 million in pre-seed funding and claims to have amassed 100,000 downloads since its public launch around the same time.
It has also been accepted into Indonesia's Financial Services Authority's regulatory sandbox and has obtained ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 certifications, which further establish its credibility and commitment to data security.
Overall, SkorLife's mission is to empower Indonesians by providing them with the tools, knowledge, and access to fair credit opportunities, thereby improving financial inclusion and stability in the country.
