Sonova launches first hearing aid with real-time AI
Sonova AG, a leading Swiss manufacturer of innovative hearing care solutions has just pushed accessibility to a new level through its Audéo Infinio and Audéo Sphere Infinio platforms by introducing hearing aids featuring real-time AI technology, the first ever of its kind on sale.
The hearing aid seeks to address the biggest challenge of people with hearing disabilities, which is understanding speech in noisy environments. By employing advanced AI algorithms, the device acts as some sort of filter, separating clear speech from background noise, and making conversations clearer.
At its core, the device integrates Sonova’s new dual-chip technology, the DEEPSONIC chip, which has 53 times more processing power than current industry standards, allowing it to amplify speech clarity efficiently. With this, users can enjoy group discussions without constantly turning their heads to catch every word.
Launched along with the hearing aid is a new Infinio platform, powered by the ultra-responsive Phonak ERA™ chip. It offers a range of features tailored to different hearing needs. From discreet Receiver In the Canal models to solutions for single-sided hearing loss, it offers an option for everyone.
Set to launch later in the month, Sonova’s push of real-time AI integration has set a new industry benchmark and established a call to action for a more accessible future in technology.
