SpaceX receives FCC approval to deploy up to 7,500 next-generation Starlink satellites
The Federal Communications Commission issued a key authorization to Elon Musk’s SpaceX, granting approval for the company to move forward with launching up to 7,500 next-generation satellites in its Starlink internet network per a report by CNBC.
This decision is critical to SpaceX’s plans to expand its Starlink satellite network, which have been hotly contested in filings with the regulator from companies including Viasat, DISH and Amazon.
