The Vivo T4 5G smartphone might be coming to India in April
Leaks suggest the T4 packs a massive 7,300mAh battery with 90W fast charging.

Vivo’s T-series might not be the flashiest line out there, but it’s quietly become one of the more reliable options for budget-conscious buyers in India. Earlier this month, Vivo dropped the T4x, a no-fuss affordable phone priced under ₹14,000 (~$163).
Vivo, which holds 19.4% of India’s smartphone market per Techloy analysis, remains one of the country’s top five brands—and it clearly knows how to compete.
Now, leaks suggest the Chinese phone brand is getting ready to follow it up with something a bit more powerful—the Vivo T4, possibly coming this April. If you remember last year’s T3, it was solid for the price but didn’t exactly shake up the mid-range space. The T4, though, might have a bit more muscle.
Word is it’ll ship with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip—a nice shift from the MediaTek processor in the T3—which could offer smoother performance for daily tasks and even a bit of gaming.

But the real flex might be the battery. Leaks suggest the T4 packs a massive 7,300mAh battery with 90W fast charging–well above the usual 5,000mAh we see in the mid-range segment. That even edges out competitors like the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ and the upcoming iQOO Z10, which is also rumored to feature a similarly large battery.
Meanwhile, the Vivo T4's display may also get an upgrade—a 6.67-inch AMOLED with a 120Hz refresh rate and a quad-curved design that could give it a more premium, almost flagship-like look. Throw in a 50MP Sony main sensor with OIS and a sharper 32MP front cam, and it’s clear Vivo’s trying to punch above its weight here.
Of course, all of this is still speculative as Vivo hasn’t confirmed anything yet. But pricing is expected to land somewhere between ₹20,000 and ₹25,000 (~$240–$300). That would put it right up against other mid-range contenders from Realme, Xiaomi, and Samsung’s Galaxy M series.
If the T4 5G lands with everything it’s rumored to have, it could be one of the more balanced mid-range phones to beat this year.
