TikTok is launching TikTok Notes, its Instagram rival
For now, we don't know if it would let you cross-post the photos and texts to Instagram.
TikTok is working on a new app that would allow users to share photos, much like what you do on Instagram.
Although the goal is to encourage its community to create and share creativity with photos and text, it is considered a move to lure users away from Instagram.
The new app called TikTok Notes would let users share existing and future public TikTok photo posts to the app. For now, we don't know if it would let you cross-post the photos and texts to Instagram.
Once it is launched, TikTok Notes is expected to be pre-populated with all the photos already shared by TikTok users. Users' existing photo posts will also be shared on the app with the option to choose not to share their image posts with the new app.
With the rollout on its way, it could become a serious competitor to Instagram, given that it already has an initial user base. (*Winking at Instagram's Threads app)
