Gosh! It's already six months into 2022 and I haven't read a single book yet.🤦 Oh sorry, I actually read one: How To Make a New Year's Resolution and Not Keep It by Whois Toblame. 👀 Well, there's been so much going on
Gosh! It's already six months into 2022 and I haven't read a single book yet.🤦 Oh sorry, I actually read one: How To Make a New Year's Resolution and Not Keep It by Whois Toblame. 👀
Well, there's been so much going on around the world to really be able to focus on reading a book, so if you have actually read one, kudos to you, and for those of us who are still struggling to commit to reading, let's hope we can achieve that in the next half of the year.
When I wrote the first edition of The Draft one year ago, my goal was to provide Techloy readers with a summary of the week's most important business and financial stories in the technology industry across emerging markets. The idea was born out of the need to feature more startups, even in underserved markets with the most important details, giving our writers more time to cover more topics and more regions and help us reach more audiences.
In the second half of this year, you can expect more of that and some new exciting topics we are looking to focus on, which we believe will add value to you personally and professionally. In a nutshell, our coverage will now feature startup lessons, career advice, resources, and opportunities in startups in Africa, Asia, the UK, the US, and Canada.
This week's edition of The Draft features top stories including MTN's $53.7 million alleged court case, and Airtel's new fintech license, with Paystack, PocketApp, and Flutterwave, also in the news. Plus, our top deals of the week tracked by Juwon feature acquisitions, funding, and venture capital across emerging markets.
