Locale, a virtual restaurant marketplace of the KRUSH Brands based in UAE has secured $4.5 million in its Series A funding round from Skelmore Holdings, a family office venture in Dubai.
- The funds will be used to increase its portfolio, expand Locale's portfolio to 20 brands, build-out tech-led kitchens and recruit new talents, the startup claims.
- Launched in 2015, KRUSH Brands is an omni-channel food and beverage company based in UAE with its own technologies for ordering and delivering food.
- Locale is a newly launched platform of KRUSH Brands and it's a digital food platform with integration of customers, foodpreneurs and employees.
- KRUSH Brands had been self-funded until it secured this institutional investment.
