UAE-based KWB Ventures invests in Eclipse's $40 million raise
UAE-based venture capital firm, KWB Ventures has invested in the $40 million Series B funding round of Eclipse, a US-located plant-based dairy product making startup.
- The fund will be used to support the startup's growth in retail and food service and improve its research and development processes.
- Founded in 2019, Eclipse combines non-genetically modified organisms (GMO) plants, including, cassava, corn, and potato, to make plant-based dairy products such as cheeses, spreads, and desserts.
- Sozo Ventures led the round, with participation from Forerunner Ventures, Initialized Capital, Gaingels, and KWB Ventures, bringing Eclipse to $60 million raise since its launch.
