February 19 is nearly here and Apple fans everywhere have definitely been scratching their heads wondering what Tim Cook could have meant when he posted "Get ready to meet the newest member of the family" on X just days ago.

As expected, many tech enthusiasts have come up with different speculations of what Apple is going to unveil and how the company is going to unveil it. Would it be a long-awaited affordable iPhone SE 4? Or will we get the MacBook Air M4? Some even believe this could be Apple's way of building hype before showcasing the new HomePod device. Either way, we're all in for a surprise.

What To Expect from the Apple February Event 2025

While it’s not exactly certain what Tim Cook has prepared for us, the strongest predictions suggest the spotlight will be on the iPhone SE 4. With three years since the last iPhone SE release, many believe Apple has taken its time to deliver a more refined and affordable mid-range iPhone. So what can we expect from it?

  • Design: The iPhone SE 4 is expected to feature a modern redesign, adopting the iPhone 14’s flat-edged aesthetic. This marks a significant departure from the previous SE models, which retained the classic iPhone 8 look.
  • Authentication: For the first time, the SE lineup will drop the Home Button and Touch ID in favor of Face ID, integrated into a notch at the top of the display.
  • Performance: Powered by the A18 chip, the SE 4 is expected to match the base model of the iPhone 16 in raw power, featuring 8GB of RAM and a 5-core GPU for improved speed and efficiency.
  • Connectivity: Apple’s first in-house 5G modem, codenamed "Centauri," will debut in the SE 4, handling 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS while improving battery efficiency, especially in Low Power Mode.
  • AI Features: Expected to support Apple Intelligence, the SE 4 may include AI-driven features like Smart Replies and advanced photo enhancements, making it Apple’s first budget-friendly AI-enabled iPhone.

How To Watch the Apple February Event 2025

The event is expected to kick off at 10:oo AM PT (7:00 PM WAT) and will be streamed live on Apple's official website, the Apple TV app and Apple's YouTube Channel.

Conclusion

As we count down the hours to the Apple event, we can only wonder what the Cupertino giant has under its sleeve.

While the iPhone SE 4 is expected to take centre stage, there’s also word going around that we could see a new MacBook Air M4 featuring Apple’s latest chip or a refreshed HomePod with better sound and AI-driven smart features.

Either way, we've made our guess on what it could be, but who knows, Apple might want to start the year with something completely random.
