WhatsApp is currently working on a new feature to enable you to pick, arrange, rearrange, and remove your favourite contacts as you like right on the app.
This new feature, WhatsApp says, will make it much more convenient for you to stay in touch with your favourite contacts, easily find them, and chat without having to scroll through your entire contact list.
Also, you can easily make audio and video calls, especially if you own a large contact list. All you need to do is create a "Favorites" section in your WhatsApp settings and make a personalized list of contacts for speedy calls.
Presently, WhatsApp has yet to release an official date for this release since it is still in development and is not even available to beta users. However, once this feature becomes available, it could usher in an improved form of communication that could make for a more personalized experience between you and your favourite contacts.
For now, though, you can enjoy other impressive features on WhatsApp, such as the Meta AI feature and the Chat Filter feature, which were released earlier this month.
