October is shaping up to be one of the busiest months of the year for Xbox Game Pass.
Microsoft has confirmed a sizeable lineup rolling out throughout the month, led by major releases such as Gears of War: E-Day and Battlefield 6. They are joined by several day-one additions, including Valor Mortis, Neon Abyss 2, Echo Weaver and Beyond These Stars.
The releases span Xbox Series X|S, PC, cloud and supported handheld devices, with availability varying by title and Game Pass plan. However, there is a catch: nine titles are also leaving the service on October 15, including Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, A Plague Tale: Requiem, Pacific Drive and The Casting of Frank Stone.
Here’s the complete Xbox Game Pass schedule for October 2026, covering the titles already available, everything still to come and the games leaving the service this month.

Gears of War: E-Day Is Already on Game Pass
Gears of War: E-Day is easily the biggest first-party addition to the October lineup. The game takes players 14 years before the original Gears of War, telling the story of Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago during Emergence Day and the Locust invasion.
Built in Unreal Engine 5, E-Day features a campaign alongside multiplayer, including the returning Horde mode and Versus multiplayer. For Game Pass subscribers, the important part is that it launched day one on October 6 for Xbox Series X|S, PC and cloud through Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
