Yahoo Mail Unveils AI Capabilities for Improving Task Management

Artificial intelligence (AI) has been the buzzword of late and we are now witnessing a trend of AI courses online.

It is no surprise that Yahoo Mail has decided to dive right in by introducing a series of new AI updates on its desktop platform to give its users a better real-time experience.

This new development comes after Yahoo Mail released many AI capabilities last year, such as an improved search mode, the Shopping Save feature to help users find forgotten gift cards and discount codes, and a writing assistant to help users craft emails using the appropriate tone.

Yahoo Mail now has impressive AI capabilities, such as brief AI-generated summaries of emails that highlight proposed tasks and other actions and can be found under the new Priority inbox tab.

Another one of its impressive new features is the Quick Action buttons, which allow you to quickly add an event to a calendar, check in for flights, and track packages. Also present is the "starred view" panel, which lets you quickly see and access your most important tasks or other things you would like to revisit.

To wrap it up, you can now link your Yahoo Mail inbox to other email accounts, including Gmail, Microsoft Outlook, and AOL. So, if you are the type who operates multiple emails and you want to have all your emails in one place, you can now do just that using your Yahoo Mail.

Gmail to Bring AI-Powered Email Summaries to Android
This addition is particularly welcomed for smartphone users grappling with lengthy or information-heavy emails.

These features will be available to new users in the U.S., where the email service gets most of its patronage. It will also be rolling out to close to 200 million existing U.S. users per data from Market.us who opt-in. However, users outside the U.S. can expect to get the features via Yahoo Mail's mobile app in the future.
