YouTube today announced that it is launching a new feature called Primetime Channels, in a move that would see it competing with tech giants such as Amazon, Roku, and Apple.

The company boasts over 2 billion users who go to the platform monthly to watch content about their favorite movies or shows.

The company, which has signed up deals with more than 30 streaming partners including Paramount+, Showtime, Epix, Starz, AMC+, says the platform would now allow consumers to subscribe and watch content from these services within the YouTube app.

Starting in the United States, the new feature will expand to international users in the future.
